My name is Pierfranco, I am the youngest descendant of the Baldi family, winemakers devoted to vine growing and to the ancient art of wine making for generations. My vineyards stretching over 12 hectares lie on hills with very good sunny exposure.
Since I am conscious that the first step to make a good wine is the labour in the vineyard, I have tried to develop and improve the traditional vine growing techniques so obtaining grapes of best quality.
For this reason I made up my mind to give up a part of my yield with strict green harvests to obtain higher quality.
In the cellar I use new enological techniques enabling to control the temperature of fermentation and perform more precise analysis during the delicate wine making process.
Needless to say, the refinement of the wine is made according to our ancient traditional methods making the wine decant in big capacity Slavonic oak barrel or in French oak barriques.
